Level 2 Award in Dementia Awareness

This course is ideal for employees that have previously completed Level 2 and Level 3 NVQs but did not cover dementia specific units. It is also suitable for anyone wishing to expand their knowledge of Dementia.

 The course covers: 

  • Unit 201 Dementia Awareness
  • Unit 202 The Person-centred Approach to the Care and Support of Individuals with Dementia
  • Unit 205 Understand the Factors that can Influence Communication and Interaction with Individuals who have Dementia
  • Unit 207 Understand Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Dementia Care

Delivery through 2 full day sessions held on site at your place of work for groups of 6 or more people or at our offices in central Coventry
