GCSE rule for Level 3 Early Years Educator scrapped

On Friday we received brilliant news that the rule around having to have GCSE’s to receive funding to undertake the Level 3 and to count in the ratios has been scrapped! This means that we can now offer funding to everyone regardless of previous qualifications and if they don’t have GCSE’s in English and Maths they can be taught, and achieve Functional Skills instead.
