BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Teaching (formerly PTLLS)

This is an introductory teaching qualification which provides the necessary skills and knowledge for individuals to prepare, plan, deliver and evaluate basic teaching and learning sessions. It can be undertaken by individuals who are not in a teaching role.

It is relevant for teachers and trainers in work-based or community-based learning and for people with specialist or technical skills who carry out training as part of their current role.

The course covers: 

  • Understanding Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training
  • Understanding and Using Inclusive Approaches in Education and Training
  • Understanding Assessment in Education and Training

This qualification is delivered through 5 days of workshops, held on site at your place of work, for groups of 6 candidates or more. If you are an individual seeking this qualification we deliver it through monthly workshops held in Coventry.
